This policy explains what information IGNYT Studio, a unit of Vivek Saran Consulting ("IGNYT", "we", "us") collects when you visit ignytstudio.viveksaran.in or contact us, why we collect it and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
In short: the enquiry form on this website does not store your details on our servers; it opens WhatsApp with your message so you can choose to send it. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. We never sell your data.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Information you send us: your name, business name, phone number, email and message when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, including through the enquiry form (which prepares a WhatsApp message on your device).
- Usage information: pages visited, clicks, device and browser type, approximate location (city/country), referring website and similar data, collected through cookies and similar technologies by Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity may record anonymised mouse movements, scrolls and clicks (session replays and heatmaps) to show us how the page is used.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider (Netlify) processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the website.
We do not ask for payment details, passwords, government ID numbers or sensitive personal data on this website.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations and deliver the services you ask for.
- To understand which pages and designs are useful and to improve the website.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations when you become a client.
4. Consent and your choices
By contacting us you consent to us using your details to respond. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and ask us at any time to stop contacting you.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our work, under their own privacy terms: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Workspace), Microsoft (Clarity), Netlify (hosting) and Meta (WhatsApp). Some of these providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months. Client and billing records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics (up to 14 months) and Microsoft Clarity.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to viveksaran12@gmail.com; we will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
The website runs over HTTPS with standard security headers. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
9. Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
